2 days, 16 hours remaining until Superdogthon, a speedrun marathon to raise funds for Fladervy to travel to SGDQ!
Many people here know that my Freedom Planet submission to this year’s SGDQ has been accepted. However, I don’t have enough money to go to the event on my own. These are my estimates for the travel expenses:
– Plane ticket ($950)
– Food ($150)
– The hotel ($300)
– The visa ($200)
– $1600 on total.We are organizing this marathon, to be held at twitch.tv/johannhowitzer, to raise money for my SGDQ trip. This won’t be a Freedom Planet exclusive marathon, so there’ll be many different games.

Personally, I’m kinda interested in checking out the speedruns for Ratchet and Clank, Momodora (I hear that this one will be played one-handed!), Hyper Light Drifter, Gunstar Super Heroes, the entire Mega Man block, and the end of show set of Freedom Planet speedruns. Should be good fun, with VoDs to watch should the live events be missed.
